Crispy Topped Power Oatmeal

Products Used: Kellogg's Frosted Flakes® Cereal

Ingredients

  • 9 cups Large flake oats
  • 3 cups Chopped mixed dried fruit
  • 2 tbsp Baking powder
  • 1 tbsp Ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp Salt
  • 6 Eggs, slightly beaten
  • 8 cups Skim milk
  • 1 cup packed Brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp Vanilla extract
  • 8 cups Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes* cereal

Directions

1. Stir together oats, fruit, and baking powder, cinnamon and salt; set aside.
2. In small bowl, combine eggs, milk, brown sugar, oil and vanilla.
3. Add sugar mixture to oat mixture. Stir until combined.
4. Spoon into 24 greased 3/4 cup custard cups or ramekins.
5. Place on baking sheet and bake, uncovered, at 400°F for 15 minutes. Sprinkle tops with cereal.
6. Continue to bake, uncovered, for about 10 minutes or until knife inserted near centre comes out clean.
