Crunchy Peanut Butter Cookies

Products Used: Mini-Wheats* Original Frosted Cereal

  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup softened Butter
  • 1/2 cup Light peanut butter
  • 7 tbsp packed Brown sugar
  • 6 tbsp Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 Egg
  • 3 cups crushed Kellogg’s* Mini-Wheats* Original cereal


1. Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; set aside.
2. In large bowl beat together butter, peanut butter, granulated and brown sugars until light and fluffy.
3. Beat in egg and vanilla. Stir in flour mixture and crushed cereal.
4. Drop by rounded teaspoonful’s onto ungreased baking sheets. Using back of fork, fl atten each cookie in crisscross pattern.
5. Bake in preheated 350° F oven about 14 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove immediately from baking sheets. Cool on wire racks.
