Granola Apple Crisp
A nice and simple update on a timeless classic.

Ingredients
- ½ cup (125 mL) Butter
- 10 lb, peeled, cored and sliced (about 15) Apples
- 1 cup (250 mL) Packed brown or granulated sugar
- ⅓ cup (75 mL) All purpose flour
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) Ground cinnamon
- 8 cups (1 L) Special K* low fat granola
- ½ cup (125 mL), melted Butter
- ¼ cup (60 mL) Granulated sugar
Directions
1. Melt butter in large saucepan and cook apples, sugar, flour and cinnamon for about 5 minutes or until starting to soften.Spread into 22 x 18 inch baking pan.
Granola Topping:
1.Combine granola, butter and sugar until well coated. Spread evenly over apples.
2.Cover and bake in 350ºF oven for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake for about 20 minutes or until apples are tender. Serve warm.
