Granola Peanut Butter Chocolate Bars

Snacking made easy.

Servings: 24

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (500 mL) Crunchy peanut or almond butter
  • ⅔ cup (150 mL) Honey
  • ½ cup (125 mL), melted Butter
  • 2 tsp (10 mL) Vanilla
  • 4 cups (1 L) Special K* low fat granola
  • 1 cup (250 mL) Chocolate chips
  • 1 ½ cups (375 mL) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) Canola oil

Directions

1. Stir together peanut butter, honey, butter and vanilla. Add granola and chocolate chips; stir until well combined.
2. Spread evenly into parchment paper lined 13 x 9 inch baking pan.Freeze for 10 minutes.
Topping:
1. Melt chocolate; whisk in canola oil. Pour over top, spreading evenly to coat.
2. Refrigerate until set; cut into bars.
